Leanne Vance and her husband Craig, were instantly drawn to the Gilbertfield Woods development in Cambuslang after being in awe of the design layout of the site from afar.
Locals to the area, Leanne and metal fabrication director Craig have lived in Cambuslang since their marriage in 2019. However, after three years at a previous property, the couple were looking to upgrade on space while staying close to friends and family.
From the get go, Leanne and Craig had their sights set on Gilbertfield Woods after they were drawn to its stylish look. Leanne, said: “When the first phase of the development was complete, we really liked the look of the homes – they weren’t like most standard modern properties.
We were drawn to buying a new build property as we wanted a home that we could put our own stamp on. “The plot we picked also had a great sized garden which was a really important factor for us and will be brilliant in the summer. The location is ideal for our lifestyle. We are very familiar with the area; it is just a stone’s throw from local shops and just off the main road which makes it really easy for me to get to work at the hospital – it has even saved me five minutes on my commute in comparison to our previous home.
Moving home can be stressful as a lot of elements need to align for things to go smoothly, but our experience was fantastic. The team at Dundas were with us every step of the way and gave us regular updates while the home was being built, and were more than willing to go above and beyond for us which we are more than grateful for.
