Lorraine and her partner have found the ideal apartments at our Wireworks developement, originally from Fife, Lorraine and her partner both moved into their properties in April, opting to live together, but in separate apartments. The unique set-up allows them both to maintain their independence by having their own spaces, while still being close neighbours.
Lorraine said: “We love having our own spaces, but it's great being able to stay so close.
“My partner works from home, and although I have an office in the city centre, I tend to do a lot of my work in the apartment.
"The Wireworks has allowed us to find the perfect balance, of being nearby but also living independently."
Lorraine relocated to Edinburgh in 2012 to pursue a new career. She was drawn to the Wireworks after being impressed by the development's convenient location, upscale amenities, and Dundas' customer-focused service.
One of the most attractive features of the development for the couple was its proximity to Edinburgh city centre, whilst still having a small community feel.
Lorraine added: "We did a lot of research before deciding on the Wireworks and you really get excellent value for your money.
"The extras that Dundas offers were also very attractive, like the private balcony in my living room.
“There’s also real sense of community here while still being so close to Edinburgh, the location is brilliant and being so close to nature has given me the incentive to get out walking again."
The Wireworks is a £35 million redevelopment of the former Brunton Wireworks site in the Honest Toun and will bring to market a range of high-spec one to three-bedroom apartments, and stylish penthouses.
Lorraine believes that it’s also the buying experience that drew her to purchasing her property, with an experience tailored to her needs.
She added: “The quality of the properties are to such a high standard, and being able to choose my own kitchen and bathroom tiles was a big selling point for me.
“The Dundas team were also amazing and got to know myself and my partner so well, the personal touches in emails and also allowing us to view our separate homes together really stood out to me.”
